Clients on Stage – ÖFB Starts Its Own TV Channel
The Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) now has its own TV channel. The video platform ÖFB TV went live on Monday after an “intensive conception and implementation phase”. From the very beginning over 2 000 videos, interviews and games are already available.
We love football. Read on if you do so too.
1. The First Program Highlights
Live in August, ÖFB TV saw great success even in its first month.
The very first live program on the new ÖFB TV included the squad announcements by team boss Franco Foda. The first episode went live on Tuesday, August 25th at 11.30 a.m. Events escalated quickly the weekend after when 25 games of the Uniqa ÖFB Cup were broadcasted live and exclusively on the platform. The content is accessible free of charge after a one-time registration using just an email address and user name. Users who already have access to ÖFB systems can log in with their account.
Not a fan of mainstream football? Fear not.
In addition to live games from the Uniqa ÖFB Cup, the Planet Pure Women’s Bundesliga and the Sport.Land.NÖ Women’s Cup, ÖFB TV also offers international games for the young national teams and games from the ÖFB youth league, futsal and various other live content. If you are a fan, you should definitely look forward to on-demand content as well.
A special highlight is the exclusive video content from the team camps of the national teams: With ÖFB TV you can take a look behind the closed doors, get interviews, background discussions and challenges with lots of profit opportunities. In addition, the videos of all previous ÖFB channels were combined into one extensive archive summarized on this platform.– ÖFB

2. A Multiple-Steps International Selection Process
Reults & StreamAMG support ÖFB in technical implementation.
The English company StreamAMG is responsible for the technical implementation after a multiple-steps international selection process. StreamAMG has also implemented the video platforms for numerous top clubs such as Liverpool FC and FC Barcelona. The German consultant Result, who has already successfully completed projects with UEFA, Juventus Turin and AS Roma, acted as the link between ÖFB and StreamAMG.
ÖFB goes international too.
“The launch of ÖFB TV is the final step of a three-stage process in the online presence of the ÖFB, which has been with us intensively for several years.” – says Bernhard Neuhold, managing director of ÖFB Wirtschaftsbetriebe GmbH. The implemented project is not finished yet, but is constantly being adapted to the rapidly evolving requirements and needs of the digital area constant updates and upgrades.
